Xeni Gwet’in First Nations Government Special General Assembly - May 7, 2020

BC Government has extended the Provincial State of Emergency extended to May 12, 2020

Staff will be working regular work days and hours.

Doors will continue to remain locked at this time.

Please call if you have questions or need assistance in anyway.


XGE GAS STATION

Operation hours as follows:

Monday – Fridays 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday & Sundays CLOSED


DASIQOX BRIDGE & TSUNIAH LAKE LODGE GATES

Both gates will continue to be locked and monitored.


Although Chief & Council have decided to lift the LOCKDOWN on the morning of Friday May 8 ~ community members/residents will be permitted to do day-trips into Williams Lake when necessary.


We recommend that you DO NOT travel outside of Williams Lake at this time.

Starting May 8 (Friday) - as follows:

8am - 9pm GATE OPEN & MONITORED BY RANGERS

9pm - 8am GATE WILL BE LOCKED - NO ACCESS

*Overnight stays will be permitted if necessary.

 

MEAT AVAILABLE

Ground Beef - 1 pound each - FREE


Please call the office if you would like to grab some

 

COMMUNITY FUNDRAISERS

At this time we will not be permitting Community Fundraisers.

NO gatherings larger than 50

Although we will consider online fundraisers such as; bingo, raffles etc…

We will contact the person(s) whom have scheduled for Fundraisers and set up Charge Up Sheets etc…

A 2-week window will be given (ie. Monday May 11 – Thursday May 21)

Dalton will be in charge of this

 

COMMUNITY EVENTS

We will gradually schedule to have community events back up and running.

We will keep you all posted

 

NAGHTANEQED SCHOOL CULTURAL WEEK

May 11 – 14, 2020

The School will go ahead with this event.

Morning activities ~ supplies will be sent home with/to the students to complete.

Afternoon activities ~ will be outdoors ~ social distancing will be practiced.

Forms have been sent home with the students.
